Kenya eTA is a semi-automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to Kenya.
This website and mobile application are operated by the The Ministry of Interior and National Administration, State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services, Directorate of Immigration Services of the Government of the Republic of Kenya pursuant to the rules and regulations prescribed by the Republic of Kenya Data Protection laws to ensure the privacy of your information.
Information submitted by applicants through the Republic of Kenya eTA is subject to privacy provisions and controls similar to those that have been established elsewhere for similar traveller screening programs. Access to such information is limited to those persons who have a need to know, and are recognised and approved by the Government of the Republic of Kenya. The Government of the Republic of Kenya has determined that the processing of your data is in the public interest.

By submitting an application for an eTA and clicking on the button below, you authorise the Directorate of Immigration Services, and its agents, and other Ministries and Services duly authorised by the Republic of Kenya to use your personal information for the purpose of determining your eligibility to travel to the Republic of Kenya and to contact you before, during and/or after your trip via such means as it/they deem necessary and appropriate in order:

to obtain from you information necessary to clarify certain elements of your application;

to send you information about your application status and related documents;

to provide Customs at the Kenya Revenue Authority and Port Health at the Ministry of Health relevant information;

to inform you of quarantine, isolation, testing, or other measures relevant to your safety and public health;

to recommend that you stay in the places certified by the Tourism Regulatory Authority (TRA); and
-
to provide you with information on The Republic of Kenya eTA and collect feedback from you about your experience with this system.
If in conjunction with the submission of your application, you utilise the Republic of Kenya eTA website to make donations, purchase services or solicit offers provided by third parties, you authorise the Government of the Republic of Kenya, and its agents, to transmit your personal information, as required to facilitate the provision of the services or offers you selected, to the relevant third party supplier or vendor.
If you submit an application for a eTA or purchase third party services as aforesaid on behalf of your child or another person, you confirm that (1) you have given your parental consent or have obtained the legally binding consent of such other person to authorise the Government of the Republic of Kenya, and its agents, to utilise your and their personal information as aforesaid and (2) you have informed them of how their personal data will be used.

that the possession of an approved eTA is not the final authority to enter the Republic of Kenya. Admissibility is determined at the point of entry upon travellers' arrival.
